Lauren Urso is a DFW-based voice teacher and vocalist. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre and Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Oklahoma City University where her passion for vocal pedagogy began.
As a performer, Lauren has sung across the world from New York City's 54 Below to the Tianjin Conservatory of Music in Tianjin, China. Before settling in Dallas, Texas, she worked with Carlton, Goddard, and Freer talent agency in New York City for two years.
As a private voice teacher, Lauren is on a mission to help singers make peace with their mind, body, and voice using a holistic approach combined with science-backed vocal techniques. She is passionate about healthy cross-genre singing that feels as good as it sounds, authentic artistry, and equipping her students with confidence and know-how.
